Duluth LISC to Recognize Five Neighborhood Heroes


DULUTH, Minn. (June 30, 2010) – The search is on for this year’s Neighborhood Heroes, individuals displaying exemplary leadership and citizenry. Duluth LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation) and its sustainable community collaborative, At Home in Duluth, are accepting nominations for Neighborhood Heroes from its five core neighborhoods: Central Hillside, East Hillside, Lincoln Park, Morgan Park and West Duluth. Nomination forms are available through NHS Duluth (224 East 4th Street, Duluth, phone: 218-727-8604) and SVCNDA (331 N Central Avenue, Duluth, phone: 218-624-2317) and are due Friday, July 9, 2010.
