Duluth LISC's goal is to provide community partners, developers and residents with the following resources and support to ensure healthy and sustainable quality of life for its targeted neighborhoods:
  • Duluth LISC pools locally and nationally generated funding and provides this funding to underserved neighborhoods.
  • Duluth LISC assists nonprofit community developers to carry out real estate development by devising appropriate packages of grants, loans, and tax credits to meet each project's needs.
  • Duluth LISC helps identify other lenders and offers technical assistance and guidance to community development partners through every phase of the real estate development process.
  • Duluth LISC invests in higher-risk, early stage projects to foster vital early stage funding, which then serves as a catalyst for later stage investment by other lenders.
  • Duluth LISC works in concert with other organizations to advocate for the public policy changes required to bring and sustain real changes to neighborhoods.
