The East Hillside neighborhood is prized by its residents for its affordable housing, close proximity to jobs, medical services and two college campuses, convenient transit service and beautiful parks. The bulk of the area is residential in nature; however it also has an active commercial business district, and a medical district, which is shared with the neighboring Central Hillside community.
